Clear Aligners for a Straighter Smile
If you're looking for a straighter smile, we have options! Our dental office is proud to offer both Invisalign and SureSmile clear aligners for your orthodontic needs. Clear aligners offer a comfortable and discreet alternative to traditional braces, and are available for kids, teens and adults.
Since clear aligners are made from a clear plastic and don't use brackets and wires, it is unlikely that people will notice you are undergoing orthodontic treatment at all. Additionally, clear aligners don't require adjusting, so fewer appointments will be needed compared to traditional braces.
You can also remove your clear aligners for activities like eating or playing an instrument, allowing you to continue living your life as you normally would. Clear aligners can be cleaned and soaked multiple times a day, helping you prioritize your oral hygiene.
Invisalign & SureSmile in Saskatoon
We offer both Invisalign and SureSmile clear aligners as discreet options for straightening your teeth. Your dentist will help you decide which is best for you.
The Clear Aligner Process
During an initial consultation, your dentist will use a 3D scanner to evaluate the extent of your misalignment and determine what your smile may look like by the end of your treatment. Your dentist will then discuss with you whether they feel clear aligners are the right choice, based on your orthodontic issues and lifestyle.
Your treatment will then be mapped out and Invisalign or SureSmile aligners will be designed to fit your mouth. You will receive a new set of aligners every two weeks throughout the duration of your treatment. Each set of aligners is specifically designed to guide your teeth into their new, prescribed positions.
Throughout the process, you will have periodic appointments to assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments.

How do I store and clean my aligners?
Your aligners will come with a case, and this is where you should put them whenever you take them out.
Rinse your clear aligners each time they are removed to wash away dry saliva and plaque that can result in dental decay and bad breath. Brush and floss your teeth before you put your aligners back in.
Cleaning your aligners with clear anti-bacterial soap is an excellent and inexpensive way to keep them clear, fresh and free from harmful bacteria. Brush your aligners gently so as not to scratch them, and then rinse off the soap.
