The COVID-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for many people physically, financially, and emotionally. It has been a time of incredible change that none of us could have predicted. We are grateful to our staff who have worked hard to ensure our COVID-19 protocols are followed and to our patients for supporting our policies.
As most of you know, we are keeping our COVID-19 prevention measures in place. As the pandemic continues to evolve, we work hard each day to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We know our protocols work to keep everyone safe and we feel confident in moving forward with our new normal.
We continue to require all patients to submit a COVID-19 screening questionnaire before appointments, and our hand hygiene program is a requirement for everyone entering the clinic. Upon arrival, patients will receive a temperature check with an infrared thermometer to ensure that low-grade fevers do not go undetected. All staff members check their temperature at the start and end of their shift.
Although we love to see your smiling faces, we ask that all patients wear a mask to our office. Our staff continue to wear either a Level 3 surgical mask or N95 respirators in addition to appropriate personal protective equipment for patient and personal safety.
Our hygienists are now able to resume treatment utilizing ultrasonic technology and they look forward to seeing you for your next cleaning appointment.
Our high-volume HEPA filtration system and UV Angel Clean Air Technology systems are both still hard at work filtering any airborne virus out of the air and providing a safe environment for everyone in our clinic.
We continue to use an aggressive approach to cleaning, ensuring high-touch areas are disinfected at regular intervals throughout the day. In addition, our dental assisting team continues to expertly operate our high-volume suction during procedures to eliminate airborne contaminants at the source.
We are confident that we are providing the safest environment possible for our patients and staff. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our protocols and how we’re working to keep patients safe.
