Dear Patients of Preston Dental Centre,
We know many of you have questions about the Public Health mandate changes surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to assure you that Preston Dental Centre will continue to do everything in our power to keep patients and staff safe. We know that the relaxation of the mandates does not mean an end to the pandemic, or the danger COVID-19 presents to our population. As such, most our COVID-19 prevention measures will stay in place.
Prior to appointments, patients will no longer be required to fill out the COVID-19 screening questionnaire, however if you are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home! As per the provincial mandate, masks will be required in our clinic until the end of February: after that they are optional, but highly recommended. Our staff members will still be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including face masks, face shields, and surgical gowns.
All of our staff members are vaccinated and eager to provide the best possible care to our patients. Our staff will continue temperature checks prior to starting their shift to ensure that no low-grade fevers go undetected. In addition, we will continue with our vigorous cleaning regimen, ensuring high-touch areas are disinfected regularly.
As always, our clinic is using high-volume suction during procedures that help to eliminate airborne contaminants at their source. We are also protected by our HEPA filtration system and UV Angel Clean Air Technology systems to filter out any airborne contaminants.
Our clinic has been highly successful in keeping our patients and staff safe and healthy during the last two years of this pandemic. We want everyone to feel safe and cared for in our clinic and we are confident that we can continue to do so. Please rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We thank you for your understanding and support during these unprecedented times.
